The Vitpilen 401 is one of the sharpest-looking lightweight road bikes on the market, but its stock seat falls short in both comfort and styling. Our custom seat trim is designed to enhance long-distance ride-ability while complementing the bike’s minimalist aesthetics. Featuring a borderless diamond-stitched insert in premium black suedes and vinyls, this seat blends seamlessly with the OEM colour scheme while delivering a timeless classic styling that’s unmistakably custom.
We believe that comfort should be tailored to the rider. Every Vitpilen 401 seat trim includes a 12mm foam inlay, with the density adjusted based on the rider’s weight to provide optimal support. The foam inserts are lycra-backed, ensuring flexibility across different densities while maintaining shape and durability.
Each seat is handcrafted using a collection of high end materials that we have chosen and sourced globally, creating a world class trail of provenance unseen amongst our competitors.

Rather than replacing the entire seat unit, our seat trims allow you to retain your stock seat pan, eliminating unnecessary shipping fees, import duties, and manufacturing waste. This makes for an eco-friendly, cost-effective upgrade while providing a world-class finish that fits up perfectly to your bike and latch every time.
Sold as a single piece seat cover replacement installation takes approximately 15 minutes and can be done yourself with an air-powered 6mm staple gun. For those less inclined to install themselves, local upholsterers can provide professional fitting for a small fee. We tend to love this option, as you’ll get perfect fitment whilst also getting an unbiased professional opinion on the quality of upholstery that we do. Since we started Kelpi, we’re yet to hear of any trimmer who hasn’t been impressed by our work.
